Ticketing for clubs, communities & independent organisers

Festivals, Matches, Events & More

Beautiful, reliable ticketing for clubs, communities and independent organisers. Set up in minutes, sell on any phone, scan at the gate with no signal.

How it works

Draft on Monday. Gates open Saturday.

Three steps, no design skills needed. The event page, the checkout and the ticket are built for you the moment you save.

Step 1 of 3

Create

Name it, date it, add ticket types and a photo. Multi-day festival or a single match — the same guided flow, with advanced settings only when you need them.

Step 2 of 3

Sell

Buyers pay in seconds with Apple Pay, Google Pay or card. No account to create, no fee sprung at the end, and the money lands in your own payment account.

Step 3 of 3

Scan

Door staff scan from their own phones with the Ticead scanner. It keeps working when the signal drops at the gate and syncs when it comes back.

Direct payments

Your ticket money goes to you. Not through us.

Connect your payment account once. Every sale settles straight into it — Ticead never holds your revenue. You see gross sales, our fee and your net in plain numbers.

  • Apple Pay, Google Pay and every major card
  • Full and individual-ticket refunds from your dashboard
  • GBP and EUR from day one
  • You are the seller. Buyers see your name on the receipt.
How payments work

Mobile checkout

From “I’m in” to “I’m going” in three taps.

Most of your buyers are on a phone, standing in a kitchen, half-listening to someone. The checkout is built for exactly that moment.

  • The total price is the first price they see
  • No account. Guests buy and get tickets by email.
  • Basket held for ten minutes with a visible countdown
  • Tickets land in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet

The ticket

Tickets that look like the night, not the receipt.

Your artwork, your club or festival name, and a QR code that scans first time. Every ticket is a proper web page that works on a cracked screen at 30% brightness.

  • Secure QR credential — opaque, never sequential, re-issued on transfer
  • Short manual code for when a screen won’t scan
  • Add to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet in one tap
  • Transfer to a friend by email. The old code stops working instantly.

Admission

The signal dies at the gate. Your scanner doesn’t.

Download the event to each phone before doors. Scan, search or type a code with no connection at all — the result is instant, in colour and in words. Everything syncs when you’re back online.

  • Install on any phone or tablet — no app store
  • Valid, already used, wrong day, wrong gate: each one clear and different
  • Door managers approve devices and can revoke a lost one remotely
  • Live check-in counts by entrance

Multi-day & festivals

Weekend passes, day tickets and camping. One capacity, no oversell.

Ticket types share the pools they actually draw from. A weekend pass takes a place on every day it covers; a parking ticket takes a bay, not a spot in the field.

Shared capacity pools

Adult and concession tickets count against the same field. Sell the last place once, whoever buys it, even when hundreds check out at the same second.

Sales windows per ticket

Early bird closes Friday, day tickets open Monday, a members’ allocation before either. Set it once and let the clock do the work.

Add-ons that behave

Camping, parking and VIP upgrades sit alongside the main ticket, with their own capacity and their own entrance rules on the scanner.

Transparent pricing

30pper paid ticket

One fee. You decide who pays it.

Absorb it, or add it to the ticket price. Either way the buyer sees the whole number from the first screen, and the fee never changes after your first sale.

Adult ticket£20.00
Platform fee£0.30
Buyer sees£20.30

The advertised price is £20.30 everywhere it appears. You receive the full £20.00 face value.

You absorb the fee

Adult ticket£20.00
Platform fee
Buyer sees£20.00

A clean £20.00 for the buyer. Ticead bills you 30p for this ticket. Card-processing fees are charged separately by your payment provider.

Security & reliability

Boring where it matters. Reliable when it counts.

Tickets issue on verified payment

A ticket is created only when your payment provider confirms the money. Never from a browser redirect.

Your data stays yours

Every organisation is isolated at the database level. No organiser can ever see another’s attendees.

Backups we actually restore

Point-in-time recovery, offsite copies and scheduled restore drills. A backup doesn’t count until it has been restored.

Ready for the big onsale

A managed waiting room, rate limiting and bot checks for the sales where everyone shows up at 10:00 sharp.

Questions

Straight answers.

What does Ticead cost?

30p per paid ticket on the standard rate. Free tickets carry no platform fee. Card-processing fees are charged separately by your payment provider. There are no set-up fees or monthly minimums on the standard rate.

Do buyers need an account?

No. Buyers check out as guests and get their tickets by email, with a secure link to view, transfer or add them to a wallet later.

When do I get paid?

Ticket money is paid into your own connected payment account on its normal payout schedule. Ticead never holds your revenue — we bill our fee separately.

Does the scanner really work without signal?

Yes. Each device downloads the event before doors and validates tickets locally with signed credentials. If two devices are both offline they could each accept the same ticket once; conflicts are flagged to the door manager as soon as either reconnects.

Can I refund one ticket from an order of four?

Yes. Refund a whole order, a single ticket or a partial amount. The refunded ticket stops scanning immediately and the buyer is told automatically.

Is Ticead affiliated with the GAA?

No. Ticead is an independent ticketing platform built with clubs and community organisers in mind. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or licensed by the GAA or any governing body.
